Much like Robert Pollard's consumption and repackaging of '60s and '70s rock before him, frontman and songwriter Evan Nork has seemingly absorbed the entire oeuvre of '90s indie rock and blended it into a catchy set of tunes as fresh as they are pastiche. "Well, I feel alright," he croons on the airy second track, and that's exactly what I'm thinking as I listen through this record.
Favorite track: Bamboo Harvester.
